Moonstone - moonstone

Becca's Shimmering Skin Perfector in Moonstone is one of my favourites in my entire make-up collection. I don't use it as a base because I think it really is better off as a highlighter.. and while we love dewy skin, we probably don't want our entire face catching light. After all, there's a huge difference between dewy and oily skin. It may be a little expensive but you really don't use a lot of product each time, even if you use it every day. I use less than half a pump each time and am pretty sure this 70-dollar investment is going to last me a really long time. Also, don't be disheartened if you don't get it in 'pearl'. If you've got Asian skin, Moonstone and Opal should work better anyway. Moonstone's definitely the perfect match for me. Oh, I also mix it with my liquid foundation if I want a bit of coverage under my eyes and found that it actually works like the touche eclat.

Opal - So glad I finally got this!

Okay. Let me start by saying that I've wanted this for a long time. Lisa Eldrige's highlighting video totally convinced. And all the many, many rave reviews on the interwebs. I got this on the luxola Black Friday sale *yay* and really, I don't regret it ONE TINY BIT. I was so afraid that because I have slightly oily skin, this would make me shine like nobody's business but it really doesn't! I put a little more than I normally would on top of my BB cream then dust a little loose powder over everything to set and it looks beautiful! It makes me look healthy and it gives me this great glow that I love. It doesn't stand out as a streak of shimmer, but seems to melt into my skin and it looks so,so natural. Plus, the bottle is HUGE and you only need a tiny bit. Not even a half a pump. For reference, I'm MAC NC30 and I use Opal (:

Opal - Very natural glow

This is the product that makes natural highlighting/glow possible. I tried it immediately after receiving it. With just a very tiny amount-probably even lesser than the size of a grain of rice, it is enough to cover both sides of my cheekbones. Really natural and healthy looking. And I have to compliment the delivery service, I think it is the best part of the shopping experience. Thank you very much.

Opal - Lovely Glow and Highlighter

This gives me a beautiful glow. Very subtle and not too shimmering or sparkly. Worth the price as a little goes a long way. I blend it slightly above my cheek bones as a highlighter (a tip from Lisa Eldridge). I am quite tan and I use Opal.

Opal - Dewy skin, finally!

Having read the reviews posted by others, I decided to try this highlighter out. The only other highlighter I have tried had an amazing smell, but failed to deliver dewy, healthy skin. Still, I was eager to try this out.. I mean, who doesn't want dewy skin right? So, I tried it on upon receiving it and it was great! cept for the fact that I pumped out too much and ended up having close to a overly shiny face... the second and subsequent times, I made sure to use just a tiny dollop and the effect was truly dewy, healthy looking skin. :)

Opal - Magical

I'm not given to overexaggeration, but this product seriously impressed me. I have large pores and the one major worry I always have when using illuminators is that they'll end up highlighting my pores. The shimmer here, however, is so finely milled that it just appears on my skin as a very natural glow, and is very easily blended into my foundation so it doesn't seem like I have random shiny patches. The price might seem high to some, but considering the promotions that luxola often has, as well as the huge amount of product that is given (my bottle will probably expire before I even work halfway through it, no joke), this is most definitely worth the purchase.
