Opaque in one good coat

Applying with a light hand naturally makes the colour a bit sheer so I went ahead and went semi-heavy. I found one such semi-heavy coat enough. Only issue is the staining. I use The Face Shop's base coat and I think next time, I'll use two or three layers of it. The staining is very obvious. But the deep blue is very worth it. I liked using Diamond Geezer as a nail tip colour with this.

My favourite navy polish.

I was searching for a perfect navy polish for quite some time now and I am certain I found it :D This polish is just the right shade I was looking for, not too much blue tones, and not too black. A cool, dark tone that is so appropriate for fall! ♥ (Does stain your nails a lil' if you leave them on for more than 3-4 days tho..)

Smart

Was worried about the blue tone but it's a nice neutral navy. Went on smoothly for a dark and very classy look. Dries quickly and has good lasting power though I wouldn't leave a dark shade like this on for too long.

Butter London - Royal Navy

Formula and consistency of Butter London nail polish is good. It also dries fast and is a great color! One coat is good enough. Two coats will be too dark to be recognized as navy unless under sunlight. You may top it off with Butter London's Hen Party which will fix the color correction of two coats to a brighter navy color than before!!! However, it chips fast and not as lasting as expected.

Royal Navy

Royal Navy is LOVELY. Butter London colours are a bit pricey but they have some of the nicest colours, and some of the loveliest names for their colours. I really like Royal Navy because it's dark and seductive, but not black.

Love Royal Navy

Royal Navy is probably the best blue shade nail polish that I have in my personal stash! Application wise is easy and awesome! I had two coats of the Royal Navy followed by a top coat and it lasted me for a few days before it started chipping as per other normal nail polishes! If you are looking for a nice blue nail polish, look no further!
