Need moisture but tired of the thick oily feeling you get when using a cream, especially given our hot and humid climate? To the rescue is the Herbal Hydrating Serum. This versatile, gel like serum, is fantastic as a stand alone moisturizer for oily skin or those looking for a simple, lightweight daytime hydrator. It also does night duty when layered on top of a cream moisturizer for those with dry or flaky skin.

Formulated with Gingko Extract, Ceramides and Ginseng Extracts it provides nourishing benefits to the skin without the heavy or oily feel of traditional moisturizers.

Use 2 or 3 drops over a moisturizer or night cream, or use alone in place of a moisturizer. Safe for eye area.

Hydrating Inside Out.

The gel is light and is easily absorbed into my skin. Perfect for any climate - cold or humid. I use it on its own in the day, but at night, I apply a moisturizer after. Suitable for sensitive and combination skin. The only downside is the price for its 29ml amount. The product itself is awesome!

Feels so light and non-oily

Most gel serums are pretty oily or they are light but do not hydrate your skin as well as regular moisturizers. However, this hydrating serum is such a great product to use especially when you have combination skin. The gel is light and non-oily which would mean that the oily parts of your skin would not be aggravated. It also hydrates and moisturizes surprisingly well. for my full review see here. http://glamifysg.wordpress.com/2012/12/03/review-plenty-of-mario-badescu-products-purchased-from-luxola/

i got a chance to try this as the Luxola Team gave me a small trial bottle to try. After 1st trying i fell in love with it. I got combi skin and this works very well for me. it absorbs in the skin very well and no sticky feeling. A little goes a long too.

light and hydrating enough for oily skins

This product goes with me on every beach holiday because it's the perfect environment to use it - my normal moisturizer has AHAs which aren't great when you're in the direct sun or swimming in the ocean all day. It's light and applies easily, doesn't take too long to absorb but I generally practice the wait-10-minutes rule before I layer on sunscreen. Doesn't break me out or leave me shiny/oily. Skin feels hydrated and supple. It feels especially nice if you chill it in the fridge and apply it on sun-kissed skin!

great for sg

the non-stickyness of this product is definitely a major plus; however one thing that really turns me away from it is the smell... it's not too overpowering so i still use it sometimes, but without the odor, i would absolutely use this more often

not bad

it's a curious blue colour, but the gel-like texture of the serum quickly sinks into the skin and hydrates it nicely. not a stellar product per se, but not bad nevertheless. MB does not disappoint yet again. good for oily/combo skin types
